Leading execs named to ICMP’s Expert and Regional Groups. The global trade body for the industry representing major, independent music publishing companies and 80 different national trade associations across 6 continents – today announces the appointment of three leading industry executives to the roles of Chair of the ICMP Industry Metrics Expert Group, and Chair and Vice Chair of the ICMP Global Regional Group – Asia Pacific.
The ICMP Industry Metrics Group was recently formed as part of ICMP’s structural evolution, which involved formation of international Expert Groups including Legal; Classical Music & Rights; Metadata; Collective Management & Societies and Outreach. It is populated by senior representatives of ICMP member companies, including Sony Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), Warner Chappell Music, BMG, Concord Music Group, Reservoir Media, peermusic, Kobalt Music Group, Believe Music Publishing and selected executives from ICMP’s 80 national industry trade bodies – known as Music Publisher Associations (MPAs) worldwide.
The ICMP Global Regional Group – Asia Pacific, is one of 5 such Global Regional Groups at ICMP. It gathers ICMP’s companies, national group MPAs and ICMP teams to tackle region-specific market issues.

⚫ Damian Rinaldi, CEO of AMPAL (national industry trade body – MPA Australasia) and Frederica Wong, Kobalt MusicAsia Director are the new Chair and Vice Chair of ICMP Global Regional Group – APAC.
