ICMP Senior Legal Advisor

Adriana Pérez-Gil is a Senior Legal Advisor at ICMP.
She helps to drive ICMP’s work across legislative and market issues, with responsibilities for legal expertise to our members and public advocacy.
Before joining ICMP, Adriana garnered more than twelve years of experience in international arbitration and trade negotiations, both in the private and public sectors. She worked as an in-house associate at a leading independent law firm in Brussels, and previously for the Ministry of Economy of Mexico where she was entrusted with negotiations of landmark Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with 3rd countries, including the US and the EU.
Adriana holds a Masters in International Trade Law and Economics from the World Trade Institute and is fluent in English alongside her native Spanish.

ICMP Director General

John manages all aspects of the trade body’s operations.
This includes international advocacy, inter-industry relations, media representation and delivering ICMP’s core mission for members – defending the music sector’s rights and enabling value to grow worldwide.
John currently serves on several industry and public authority Boards. Belfast-born, his background is steeped in music, having worked for many years as a professional performer. He has studied law, orchestral conducting at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire, lectured at universities such as Lausanne and The Paris School of Business Management.

Jenny is ICMP's central point of contact and supports ICMP staff across all aspects of operations. She has extensive professional experience in the music industry, having previously worked at a high-profile music management company and a British industry trade body. Jenny is multilingual, a talented violinist and makes ICMP tick.

ICMP Legal & Policy Executive

Jure Kralj helps drive ICMP's legal and policy work, across a range of jurisdictions.
After earning his postgraduate Masters in Law from Antwerp University, he went on to be a legal consultant, before moving to the European Commission and then the Council, where he Co-Chaired the Working Party on Company Law and Intellectual Property. At ICMP his work has a global remit.
A Slovenian native with diplomatic experience, Jure is a multi-lingual advocate for ICMP's core mission: defending the rights of the global music publishing industry and the world's songwriters.

David Ocaña Páramo graduated with a First Class Masters in Law, before going on gain experience working in legal and business affairs within the music industry.
Aside from his legal skills, David has experience as a musical performer and music management.
He speaks native level Spanish and English.
David assists ICMP’s work across a number of legal areas.

ICMP Comms Officer

A student of the Lycée Francais, Pietro Villani graduated as a jazz pianist from the prestigious Berklee College of Music before branching out and completing a Master in Global Entertainment and Music Business, during which he studied copyright and contract management.
He speaks native Italian, French and English, fluent Spanish as well as functional Turkish and German.
Pietro supports ICMP's work across a range of COMMS, data and policy areas.

ICMP Projects Officer

Martha is a graduate in IT law, with her specialist studies centring on technology, its legal governance, regulation and how these affect the music industry.
She has experience at a high-profile TV production company and an international law firm before joining ICMP where she works on legal support and ICMP special projects ranging from anti-piracy to events.
Martha speaks 5 languages and has studied at several US Ivy league colleges.
