Jenny McLeod-Aggrey

ICMP Operations & Executive Assistant

Jenny is ICMP's central point of contact and supports ICMP staff across all aspects of operations. She has extensive professional experience in the music industry, having previously worked at a high-profile music management company and a British industry trade body. Jenny is multilingual, a talented violinist and makes ICMP tick.

John Phelan

ICMP Director General

John manages all aspects of the trade body’s operations.
This includes international advocacy, inter-industry relations, media representation and delivering ICMP’s core mission for members – defending the music sector’s rights and enabling value to grow worldwide.
John currently serves on several industry and public authority Boards. Belfast-born, his background is steeped in music, having worked for many years as a professional performer. He has studied law, orchestral conducting at the St. Petersburg Conservatoire, lectured at universities such as Lausanne and The Paris School of Business Management.

Rafał Kownacki

ICMP Senior Legal Advisor

Rafał is senior legal counsel at ICMP.
He works closely with ICMP's Director General and membership in support of a primary ICMP goal - creating the optimum legal environment for music to thrive.
Having studied in Warsaw, Chicago-Kent College of Law, New York and Leuven, Rafał brought extensive legal expertise to his professional career, which first flourished in the collecting society sector before joining the music publishing industry.
Rafał is responsible for ICMP's legal work worldwide and is also an ICMP advocate to a number of international institutions.

Tarik Poturak

ICMP Public Policy

Tarik Poturak graduated in law from the Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt, specialising in copyright, before engaging in postgraduate Master of Laws (LLM) studies at Stockholm University.
There he specialised in ‘Copyright & Transborder Litigation’.
His LLM thesis focused on the EU Copyright Directive.
Aside from his legal skills, Tarik is an amateur musician with a love of guitar.
He speaks German, English, Serbian, French and Italian.
Tarik assists ICMP’s work across a number of legal areas.

IPMG Executive Director

Dan Graham is the Executive Director of the International Production Music Group (IPMG), an organisation which serves the interests of production music companies worldwide.
The IPMG is a central part of ICMP's work and Dan oversees all specialised aspects in close coordination with ICMP staff.
